What I’ve Been Thinking About Safelist Emails
I’ve been thinking about safelist emails and the people who actually read them.
If you’re on a safelist, you’re probably not completely new to making money online.
You’re probably already looking for traffic.
You may be using traffic exchanges, buying solo ads, clicking emails and trying different programmes.
So when another email arrives saying:
“Want to learn how to start an online business?”
I wonder how many people actually stop and read it.
Probably not many.
Because that’s not really what they’re looking for.
They’re looking for traffic, leads and sales.
And that got me thinking about how we should promote an online business to this audience.
Instead of explaining everything about the business, perhaps the better question is much simpler:
“What are you doing with all that traffic?”
Because getting people to click is only one part of the equation.
You also need something worth sending them to.
That’s one of the reasons I’m looking more closely at a free online business system that provides the website, setup and daily guidance, while also showing you how to promote it and get people to see it.
If you’re already spending time and money getting traffic, it makes sense to have something you’re actually building behind that traffic.
I’m going to be testing this approach with some paid advertising and seeing what happens.
Sometimes the simplest question is the one worth asking:
What are you sending your traffic to?
