How To Attract People To Your Network Marketing Business

“It’s great isn’t it?”

“What’s great, Ugo?”

“It’s great knowing that you don’t have to chase people to join your Network Marketing business!”

….OK so yes, you can advertise and invite people to see your business and yes, you can reach out to people via text or messenger and invite them to see your business or try your product or use your service….

This are all good and effective marketing strategies.

But here’s a way where you can attract people to your business by doing just a few simple things:

Share your story.

Everybody has a story.  Some people say they do not have a story. But that’s not true. Everybody has a  story.

Take me for example. My story isn’t one about being poor , finding Network Marketing and then becoming rich. Nope.

My story is about having a low paid job, taking on  a second job so I could keep up with my bills but paying the price for doing that:

I became overtired, irritable, gained weight and suffered poor relations with my family. Not good. As a result, when it was all over,  I resolved to do something that would ensure that I would never have financial fears again.

So I turned to Network Marketing.

People love stories, because they show that you are human and people can identify with the human condition.

Stories provoke emotion, empathy and action much more easily than a piece of advertising material.

Share your use of the products.

This is a no brainer. How else are prospective customers going to know about and learn about the benefits to them of the products.

Don’t just talk about the products themselves for the sake of it. Talk about what the products have done for you. What changes in your life / body did you notice?

Share what you do (DMO Daily Marketing Operation).

People want to know how easy or how hard Network Marketing is. So tell them. Share your DMO.

It is simple and repetitive and yields great returns. So no huge effort required and no re-inventing the wheel.

Once they have a feel for what needs to be done, they are more likely to join if they are fully informed.

Share how Network Marketing can solve problems.

One biggie here (apart from the problems that the products themselves solve) is the income (or lack of income problem) that Network Marketing solves.

Share how you are building a second income. Share how there is a residual income  / royalties that allow you to earn even when you are not actively working your business because your business can grow with or without you.

How To Build Your Network Marketing Business With A Daily Method Of Operation

What is a Daily Method Of Operation?

A Daily Method Of Operation (DMO) is the daily activity that builds your Network Marketing business.

It is the daily activity that will place buying customers and active distributors in your business.

Having excellent business KNOWLEDGE is good, but it is not good enough. This is because business knowledge alone does not build a business.

Sustained, targeted activity builds a business.

The DMO can be simplified into a list of simple tasks that must be completed daily. This daily action leads to a cumulative business-building result.

Commit to doing your DMO for the LONG TERM. 6 months to 1 year to 18 months to 2 years. Every single day.

This is the way to get financial freedom.

In my opinion, the DMO should be called a Daily MARKETING Operation.

This is because the core daily activity of the Network Marketer is to MARKET the company product, service or business opportunity everyday.

Here is an example DMO (Daily Marketing Operation) for all Network Marketing distributors:

  1. Use the company product daily to experience the benefits.
  2. C.L.A.M. 20 people daily on Facebook, depending on what stage of conversation.
  3. X1 Facebook post daily.
  4. x1 Post daily on any other social media / Blog / Podcast / YouTube that you are using.
  5. Monitor/Renew daily all Free/Paid Ads that you are using.
  6. Add Trainings and Events to your calendar daily.
  7. Attend Training and Events in your calendar due daily.

You can develop your own DMO so long as it is effective and you do it daily.

Do not focus on your DMO result.
Focus on your DMO DAILY ACTION.

Each time you sign up a new distributor, sit them down and take them through their DMO item by item.

You only need to do it once with each new distributor that you sign up.

Each time you do this, you are creating a new LEADER and BUSINESS BUILDER.

Tell them to do the exact same with each of their new distributors.

Transitioning From Rapport Building To To Business Talk

The problem with waiting to transition to business talk is that you could be waiting a long time.

I learn from my students and mentees repeatedly that rapport has been building for a long time indeed without any clear attempt to do anything other than continue building rapport.

This is not good for business.

I’m in Network Marketing. My all time favourite go-to phrase is “What’s your experience of network marketing ?”

It saves time. It is non-threatening.

I can ask this question at any stage of the conversation: Beginning, middle or end. It doesn’t matter.

It is an open ended question. So I’m unlikely to get a one word answer.

Their answer is usually long and detailed which is PERFECT: their answer will tell me either they have zero experience, some experience or they are experts.

Often they will describe issues and problems that they previously had or are currently struggling with.

All of which means I can decide at what LEVEL to ‘pitch’ my offer, if it is appropriate to do so.

What’s your experience of network marketing ?

This question is powerful because YOU are assessing THEM. So YOU retain control and direction over the conversation.

This question also gives you correct posture and positions you as an expert in their eyes.
