About Me: Why I Started Looking for a Better Way
Hi, I’m Ugo.
I’m a husband, a dad, and someone who, like millions of other people, has spent a lot of my life working hard to provide for my family.
For a long time, I thought that was simply how life worked.
You work.
You earn.
You pay the bills.
You work some more.
And if you want more money, you work harder.
Simple.
Except it isn’t always that simple.
There Was a Time When I Was Exhausted
A few years ago, I found myself working two jobs just to keep up.
My first working day would finish at around 5pm.
I’d grab a cold sandwich, sit in my car and try to get some sleep.
Then, at around 10pm, I’d start my second shift.
I was tired all the time.
I barely saw my wife.
I missed things with my children.
I put on weight.
My energy disappeared.
And gradually, I started to realise something.
I was working harder to earn more, but I was paying for it with my time and my health.
That was a difficult thing to admit.
Because when you’re trying to provide for your family, working harder feels like the responsible thing to do.
What else are you supposed to do?
I Didn’t Want to Live Like That Forever
Eventually, things improved.
I found work with better hours and life became more manageable.
But something had changed in my thinking.
I couldn’t forget what it felt like to be completely exhausted and have no control over my time.
I kept thinking:
There has to be another way.
I wasn’t looking for a magic button.
I wasn’t expecting to become rich overnight.
I simply wanted to see whether I could build something of my own.
Something that could eventually give me another source of income.
Something I could work on from home.
Something that could give me more choices later in life.
So I started looking.
And That’s When Things Got Interesting
If you’ve ever searched for ways to make money online, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
There is a lot out there.
Somebody tells you to build a website.
Someone else says you need an email list.
Another person tells you to buy advertising.
Someone else says you need social media.
Then there are hundreds of different products, companies and business opportunities.
And before long you’re sitting there thinking:
“Where do I even start?”
I know because I’ve been there.
I joined things.
I tried things.
I made mistakes.
I spent money on things that didn’t work as well as I hoped.
And I discovered things that I genuinely found useful.
Most importantly, I started to understand that there isn’t one magic answer.
What I Eventually Realised
Building an additional source of income doesn’t have to mean throwing away everything you’re already doing.
You don’t have to quit your job tomorrow.
You don’t have to become a technical expert.
And you certainly don’t have to pretend to be someone you’re not.
You can start small.
Learn something.
Try something.
See what happens.
Then improve it.
That’s the approach I’m taking.
Why I Created This Website
I decided that if I was going to keep exploring this world, I might as well share what I discover along the way.
That’s what this website is about.
I’m going to tell you about the things I’m using.
The things I’ve found useful.
The things I’m still testing.
And, just as importantly, the things I don’t think are worth your time or money.
I’m not going to tell you that every programme is amazing.
I’m not going to promise that you’ll make money.
And I’m not going to tell you that success is easy.
Because it isn’t.
But I can tell you what I’ve discovered and let you decide whether something is right for you.
Why So Many Different Opportunities?
You might notice that I talk about quite a few different companies and products on this website.
There’s a reason for that.
I don’t think everyone wants the same thing.
One person might want to learn how to build an online business.
Another might simply want a way to save money.
Someone else might be interested in health and wellness products.
Another person might be looking for a useful online service.
And someone else might want to build an additional source of income.
So rather than pretending there is one answer for everybody, I’ve created a place where you can explore some of the things I’ve discovered.
I’ve called it:
Income Builders
It’s simply my collection of the programmes, products and tools that I use, have used, or believe are worth taking a closer look at.
The One I Would Start With
If you’re completely new to all of this, I understand how confusing it can be.
That’s why one of the systems I’m currently building with is Plug-In Profit Site.
What attracted me to it was the idea of having somewhere to start rather than having to work everything out completely on my own.
It gives you a starting point and introduces you to different ways of building an online income.
Is it a guarantee of success?
Absolutely not.
Nothing is.
But I think having a starting point is a lot better than spending months jumping from one opportunity to another without knowing what you’re actually trying to build.
If My Story Sounds Familiar
Maybe you’re tired.

You don’t need to join everything.
You don’t even need to join anything.
Start by learning.
That’s what I did.
One Last Thing
I wish I could tell my younger self that I didn’t have to have everything figured out before I started.
I didn’t need to know exactly where the journey would end.
I just needed to take the first step.
That’s really what I’m doing now.
Learning.
Trying.
Building.
And sharing what I discover along the way.
