So you have generated your leads and you have them all lined up ready and waiting.

Lets get the ball rolling turning these leads into buying customers and active distributors:

Your leads are likely to be in any one of the following possible places:

They are going to be people in your contacts list where you are contacting the by email or they are going to be people in you Facebook Messenger App or in your WhatsApp or numbers in your phone who you can send texts or call, etc

Wherever your leads are located , you are going to need to contact them regularly in order to build a relationship with them. Don’t panic. Building a relationship is simply done!

Building a relationship is important for 2 reasons:

  1. It allows you time to see where their pain lies and to see if you have something you can offer them.
  2. It allows your lead / prospect time to get to know you, to get to like you and to get to trust you. Once they know, like and trust you, they will say yes to seeing your product or opportunity info.

Here are 2 simple ways to build the relationship:

  1. Ask questions in your messaging.
  2. Send helpful hints and valuable knowledge in your messaging.

How to Ask questions in your messaging.

Simply ask the usual questions that you have always asked people

  • How are you?
  • How is your family?
  • How is your day / week going?
  • What do you do for a living?
  • What do you like most about it?
  • What do you struggle with the most in your job?

Learn to Listen to People

As people reply to you, LISTEN for areas of pain that they may be experiencing in their life and offer a possible solution.

Your network marketing business has products that solves people’s problems. Your job is to see if they have a problem that you can solve with your product. If they don’t seem to have any relevant problem, ASK directly just to make sure and then decide whether or not to MOVE ON to your next lead / prospect or offer them your product instead.

For example, if you are in a Health and Nutrition network marketing opportunity and they mention they have a weight problem, try this PRODUCT script:

Hi {insert their name here}, I see that you are trying to control your weight right now. My company has a great product that many people have found to be really helpful with their weight control. I was thinking of you… are you open to taking a look at the product?

Always follow up and close

After sending them any information, always follow up and close.

If while LISTENING to them you notice that they have job / money / finance worries, remember that your network marketing opportunity has a business opportunity that could be a solution for them.

Try this BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY script:

Hi {insert their name here} I see that you mention how expensive everything is these days, that’s so true. I’m involved in a great opportunity that allows me to earn an additional income without affecting what I am already doing and we are changing peoples lives everyday. Are you open to looking a look at some information to see what I am doing?

After sending them any information, always follow up and close.

If you are using email marketing, you are likely using a marketing platform to send a series of emails automatically to your leads. These emails should be full of value and each email should have a CALL TO ACTION (CTA).

The emails that you send to your leads over a period of time will enable you to form a relationship with your leads. Your leads will get to know you, like you and trust you. Your CTA invites them to look at your product or opportunity and this leads to a sale or signup.

So here are the steps To Convert Your Network Marketing Leads into Buying Customers and Active Distributors

  1. Go for Know, Like and Trust through regular messaging with specific questions or by sending emails with valuable information. Reply to messages. Reply to emails. Build rapport.
  2. LISTEN for a PAIN or ISSUE that can be solved with your product or opportunity.
  3. Offer to show your product or opportunity in order to help them solve their problem.
  4. Follow up and Close.

And that’s it!

In this post I discuss a Simple 4 Step Method To Build Any Network Marketing Business.

The four steps are:

  1. Meet new people and socialise.
  2. Qualify them by listening carefully for an expression of pain or some kind of problem.
  3. Invite them to see your solution that can solve their pain or problem.
  4. Depending on their response, aim to either turn them into a customer, or enrol them as a distributor or quickly move on to the next person if they are not appropriate.

And that’s it. These 4 steps above are effective. They are effective both online and offline.

Meet new people and socialise.

Make it a habit to meet new people daily. If you are on social media such as Facebook, you can set a goal to meet 5 new people per day. This means that you will never be short of people to have new conversations with.

Conversations build relationships. Relationships lead to sales.

Qualify them by listening carefully for an expression of pain.

When talking to people, you do not have to do anything special. Just ask the usual simple questions that we all ask everyday:

How are you? How was your day? How is your job going?

Learn to listen to people and you will see that they talk a lot about not having enough money, or enough time, or being bored with their job… and so on. People have problems and they love talking about their problems.

Invite them to see your solution that can solve their pain.

Depending on their response, aim to either turn them into a customer, or enrol them as a distributor or quickly move on to the next person.

If they are talking about trying to lose weight and you are in the health and nutrition industry, invite them to try your product.

If they are talking about not having enough money or if they want to do something new and different in their live, invite them to see your business opportunity.

Enrol them.

After seeing your product or business opportunity and they are fully informed, enrol them – either as a customer or distributor.

Facebook is a Fantastic platform to place paid Ads.

This is for many reasons. Two of my favourite reasons for using Facebook are:

Paid Ads On Facebook – Reason One – Presentation

Facebook forces you to place Ads that do not look like Ads.

Facebook will reject Ads that are too ‘salesly’ or Ads than make outrageous claims, etc. Facebook can be quite strict sometimes.

However, clean legitimate Ads are more acceptable to Facebook users.

Think about it. No one likes to be sold to.

So if an Ad does not look like an Ad, it is easier to view, easier to digest, easier to process and therefore it is more likely to lead to engagement and lead to a sale.

Paid Ads On Facebook – Reason Two – Targeting

Facebook is legendary for its ability to target your Ad.

This means that depending on your needs, Facebook can show your Ad to a specific group of people with specific characteristics in a specific location at a specific time.

What more could you want?

Ultimately, sales depend on how good your Ad is, how good your product is at solving a particular problem and what processes you have in place to lead your prospective customer form seeing your Ad, passing through your sales funnel, all the way to sale completion.

How To Get Started With Paid Ads On Facebook

There are Two Methods to get started with paid Ads on Facebook. This post focuses on the simple method which is by Boosting Posts on Facebook Pages.

The second method is the advanced method which is by using FACEBOOK’S AD MANAGER.

Boosting Posts on your Facebook Page.

  • Step One Create a Facebook Page. Log into your Facebook account and go to Pages. Facebook will take you through the process of creating a Page for your network marketing business opportunity or your network marketing product.
  • Step Two – Create a post on your Facebook page. You will later convert this post to your Ad. Text is good. Including photos is great. Using video is excellent!
  • Step Three – Click the BOOST button. Posts on Facebook pages have a BOOST button next to them. Posts on your regular Facebook profile do not have a BOOST button next to them.

When you click the BOOST button, for a small fee, (usually less than $10) Facebook will show your post to hundreds or even thousands of other Facebook users.

Two important points here:

  • Point one – You can set the budget to whatever you choose depending on your circumstances.
  • Point two – You can set the targeting to whatever you choose, depending on your circumstances.

Simple, right?

Try it now. Create a Facebook Page, Create a post on your new page and then Boost it!
