CLAM. Yes, C. L. A. M. These are the four steps and I describe the steps in detail later in this post.

Facebook as you know is a social media platform. So I am going to describe how to generate leads for your business using Facebook as a social media platform. That is, through socialising with people. So I am going to show you how to generate leads by socialising with people on Facebook.

Of course there are other ways to generate network marketing leads on Facebook such as by using paid ads but this is the topic for another blog post.

But first, before you generate leads be sure that the people you are approaching fit the description of your typical customer.

For instance, if you are promoting a weight-loss product then you should consider approaching members of Facebook weight-loss groups.

If you are promoting a Utilities company then you should consider approaching members of a Utilities discussion group.

C is for Comment

L is for Like

A is for Add

M is for Message

Make it a daily habit to CLAM 5 to 10 people daily, every day,  7 timer per week. Only do this 356 times per year.

Comment

Read the persons post and think of a relevant COMMENT or better still, a question to enter in the comments. Questions are better because questions lead to further engagement. Facebook love people who are engaging. You can comment with an emoji only, no words. Try it.

Like

Make sure to LIKE their post. Remember that there are other options apart from Liking. You have other emojis to choose from to reflect your emotion or how you feel about the post. It’s OK to use any emoji you find relevant.

Add

Look at their Facebook profile. If they seem a good fit for your network marketing business, either as a customer or as a distributor, then Add them as a friend by sending a friend request. Unless they are already your Friend of course.

Ugo’s Top Tip. If you are sending too many friend requests, Facebook will ask you if you really know them? This is a WARNING from Facebook. You should now actively REDUCE the number of friend requests that you are sending or Facebook will limit / suspend you for a time. Commonly known as FACEBOOK JAIL.

Message

Send them a message. Facebook loves it when you use their Messenger App. In your message, start by saying hello, appreciate them for posting eg by saying thank you and then say why you like their post. End by asking a question. Questions are great because they generate more engagement and rapport. Rapport helps people to get to know each other, like each other and trust each other – which leads to sales!
